what's good

DCON ‘12… Now this was an amazing, memorable weekend. Ended way to fast…  I am so freakin glad that I joined Circle K, and I am also so freakin glad and thankful that I was put in the King Dedede Family. Everyone in this club are all amazing. I met so many new people, grew bonds with many others, and they are all really like family. I have just got to say that this club and my family is so freakin awesome. I can’t believe that I wanted to not go to DCON at some point during finals week… but I am really really really glad and thankful that I was able to take part in this amazing event =].

To Holly Chen,

Get off tumblr and go study now!!!!! NOW!!!!

Hella miss those good old days.

While I was a member of the Kin No Yama Wadaiko Taiko Ensemble, I considered this to be my personal drum. Kin No Yama Wadioko translates to Mountain Made of Gold in English. As this was a branch of my high school’s Japanese-Chinese-Korean Club, it was paid for by the government. It is something I miss so much….as it became a place where I met amazing people and got free meals. The sensation and sounds you get when you drum with your bachi, the feeling of unison between the other members playing, and the chants you have to yell create a stress-free and lively atmosphere. I’m waiting for March 2nd to see the team perform at this year’s International Rally at my former high school. This year, Earl Fox, my instructor, told me the team was taught how to play on dai (stands). I’m envious that they get to play on stands, but nonetheless, will be rooting for them.
P.S. My bachi look incredible in this picture, but with every performance, it started to deteriorate.

Damn.. I hella miss doing this.

Summer Days 2011

I have got to day that this summer is the best summer of my life. It was so amazing.. I was able to do so much; hang out with family and friends; and go on some pretty random, fun, and crazy adventures. I’m truly thankful and greatful that I was able to spend it with all the people I love. I will never forget all of the memories that happened.. Oh how I will miss everyone so much.. Well, my life and new journey begins tomorrow. I’m very excited and nervous to find out what awaits for me throughout this new adventure of mine. But yeah, I need to wake up at around 2am to drive down to Irvine with my family.

I just wanna say thank you for all of the adventures everyone =] Until we are all able to see each other again, let’s be sure to keep in touch. Well… See you all later!
